Member Protection

All adults (over 18) who volunteer as coaches, managers of children's teams, referees, committee members, or support roles must:

• Register on Play Football
• Obtain and maintain a Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card for their service duration

Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card

• Registration is FREE
• Valid for 3 years
• Required under the WWVP Act 2011 (commenced 8 November 2012)
• Applies to clubs, associations and movements with significant child membership

Apply online at Access Canberra.

Those unable to obtain a WWVP card cannot volunteer.

What You Need to Provide

Your name, WWVP card number, and expiry date are needed for club records.
