Volunteers Needed

Belwest Foxes Soccer Club Inc. is a volunteer community football club. We rely on our volunteers to provide a great environment for children and adults to play football. Please consider assisting in some way in 2024/2025. We are looking for the following committee roles to be filled: Treasurer, Technical Director, Mens League Coordinator, Womens League Coordinator, Junior League Coordinator, we also have a number of Support Roles that need filling, come along to our AGM or see a Committee member and become a valued volunteer.

Expected Behaviours for All Volunteers

Volunteers must maintain inclusive practices, work positively with diverse groups, properly use club resources, obtain Working with Vulnerable People registration, represent the club professionally, communicate effectively, and resolve conflicts constructively.

Treasurer

Time Commitment: Up to 2-3 hours weekly

Responsibilities include managing banking, maintaining financial records, processing payments, monitoring sponsorships, providing monthly reports, preparing budgets, ensuring tax compliance, and presenting accounts at annual meetings.

Essential Skills: Online banking proficiency, strong organizational abilities, sound record-keeping, and trustworthiness.

Desirable Skills: Financial accounting experience. Two referees required.

Technical Director

Must hold minimum Football Australia C Licence and cannot work simultaneously for competing organisations. Duties include developing coaching philosophies, coordinating training sessions, overseeing coaching manuals, and organising development programs.

Requirements: Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People check, First Aid certification, and club membership.

League Coordinators

Three coordinator positions exist for Men's, Women's, and Junior leagues. Each represents their division on committees, coordinates league activities, shares information with teams, and provides monthly progress reports to the committee.
